The City of Gladstone Annual Mayor’s Holiday Lighting Ceremony
Be a part of this year’s City Holiday Lighting Ceremony by joining Gladstone Mayor Wayne Beer and all former Gladstone mayors who will serve as “Honorary Chairmen” of this holiday tradition. This year’s activities will take place on Tuesday, November 23rd, at the First Bank of Missouri, 5959 NE Antioch Road. Festivities will begin at 6:00 PM with the sounds of four area choirs from NKC High School, Antioch Middle School, St Charles School, and Oakhill Day School. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by sleigh and be on hand to hear children’s request. Lara Moritz and Jim Flink, both anchors from Channel 9, will be the master of ceremonies. The annual holiday lighting event will serve as a visual symbol of Gladstone’s effort to assist those in need during the holiday season. Immediately following the ceremony, the Gladstone Area Chamber of Commerce will provide hot drinks and cookies. Proceeds to benefit the Northland Christmas Store and the Gladstone Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
